Not only have we been impacted by it personally, but we have all seen on some level the devastation a cancer diagnosis can lay on a person’s life & finances.
Jon Bodan, the President & Founder of Rockstar Wholesale, is a Lymphoma survivor himself, and has seen this firsthand. As a way to give back to the community, he’s been serving on the Board Of Directors of the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation since 2014. The ACCF assists Atlanta-area cancer patients financially while they are in treatment for cancer. The foundation serves between 1000-2000 families per year, and helps them to pay their utilities, rent, mortgage payments, insurance, and any other expenses that a patient may be struggling with that could keep them from having a successful outcome in their fight.
Financial Toxicity is one of the greatest threats that a cancer patient can face, and it contributes to a substantial difference in outcome rates; ACCF was formed to attempt to minimize that for patients.
As part of the Rockstar Wholesale commitment to fighting this terrible disease, we have sponsored a number of ACCF events, such as the annual “Taste Of Hope” gala and the Metal Against Cancer concert series. A portion of the profits of every loan we close is donated to the Foundation.
The ROCKSTAR TREATMENT is not just about giving our Broker partners a great mortgage experience, but it also involves giving back to the community. The support we give ACCF is one of the ways we do this.
